This policy is subject to change. |
General
- Only images related to Hajime no Ippo, real-life boxers referenced in the series, and Morikawa Jouji are allowed..
- Images must be in .png/.PNG format. .JPG/.jpg files are not acceptable due to the loss of quality they create because they remove parts of the file when saved to save file size.
A quick list of what is NOT allowed:
- Images and videos unrelated to Hajime no Ippo.
- Fan art, including fan colouring of manga panels or pages.
- Images that are used only for discussions or user page.
- Images that break the spoiler policy.
- GIF/.gif files.
- Duplicate images.
- Unused images.
- Pornographic content and explicit scenes of any sort. Even if it is from the series, the FANDOM does not allow it. (Immediate Ban & Removal of Content)
File naming
- Images with poor filenames will be tagged with
{{Bad filename}}
. - The image files names are required to be related to the image.
- Ippo 12345.png is not allowed. Ippo Hitting Mitts.png is, as it describes that Ippo is hitting mitts in the image.
- Image file names need to have spaces.
- Ippohittingmitts.png for example is not allowed.
Image quality
Images with poor quality will be quickly removed. To prevent your image from being removed, follow these points:
- Do not upload manga images that have watermarks, fan translations, poor quality scans.
- Do not upload manga images that are not single cell/panel images. You should not see the panelling at the edge of the image. Full page images are acceptable if there are no panels, meaning the whole page was drawn without panels in them besides around the whole page.
- Do not upload anime images that have watermarks (besides the TV watermark, however, this can be replaced by an image without the watermark.), black bars, or fan-subtitles.
- Anime images from Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting! has to be a minimum of 480p. Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger and Hajime no Ippo: Rising are to be a minimum of 720p. Higher quality images can replace them, however.
- Images that have pixelation, stretching, or are too small will be removed.
Placements
- Place them on top of paragraphs. Do not place images within paragraphs.
- Do not use px sizing. It overrides the user preferences for thumbnail sizing. Use
|thumb|right|
or|thumb|left|
instead. - If images are too long in height and breaks a section, use
{{-}}
at the end of a paragraph as it will allow images to stay in the section it was put in.
