Wiki Ippo:Manual of Style

This is Hajime no Ippo Wiki's Manual of Style. It mainly consists of the section structure of pages.

Section Order

Characters

• (Main) - The general information that appears on the top of the character's page. This one is without a section name.
• ==Background==- Background information about a character before their physical appearance.
• ==History==
• ===Part I/II/III=== - A character's actions throughout the story. The summaries are to be written as portrayed in the manga, as the anime changes many events from the source material. If a character appears in the anime where they did not appear in the manga, put "In the anime," in the beginning. See Story Arcs for the order of arcs and what part they are in.
• ==Match History== - A boxer's match history.
  • ===Spars=== - A boxer's spar history with other named characters.
• ==Appearance== - Description about a character's physical appearance and attire.
• ==Personality== - Information about a character's personality.
  • ===Relationships=== - Information about a character's relationship with other characters friends or foes.

• ==Boxing Abilities== - Information about a character's boxing abilities. Add subsections if needed to provide details in certain aspects such as speed, stamina, power, specific technique, etc. For coaches, trainers, or boxers who becomes coaches/trainers, their coaching skills and battle plans will be placed under the "Intelligence" subsection.

  • ==Boxing Abilities== - Information of a character's overall boxing skill such as detailing how the character is seen as a genius, highly ranked, or is a champion.
  • ===Physical Ability=== - An overview of a character's physical strength, speed, and stamina.
  • ===Technique=== - An overview of how a character uses styles and stances, basic and special techniques, and if a character is good defensively.
  • ====(Specific Technique Name)==== - Details about how the character uses a specific technique if needed.
  • ===Intelligence=== - A character's intelligence on boxing such as if they know a plethora of techniques and strategies. For coaches and trainers, it is also for their coaching ability.
  • ===Training=== - Details about how a boxer trains and what the training does for their body and techniques.
  • ===Weaknesses=== - A boxer's weakness or weaknesses. It is for details about how their opponent is able to defeat the boxer.
• ==In Other Media== - This is used for the character's appearance in video games, movies or other miscellaneous media.
  • ===Video Games=== - List of video games the character is in.
  • ===Real Fighting Hajime no Ippo: The Glorious Stage!!=== - Who plays the character.
• ==Gallery== - A character's gallery.
• ==Quotes== - Quotes stated by the character.
• ==Trivia== - Trivial information about a character. Speculation is not allowed.
• ==References== - Only thing that should be under this section is "<references/>" for pages with few references, or "{{references}}" for pages with many references.

Techniques

• (Main) - The general information that explains in short what the technique is. This one is without a section name.
• ==Usage== - How the technique is used, along with the strengths and counters.
• ==Variant== - The technique's variant if it has one. Small detail here if there is already a main page about it.
• ==In Other Media== - This is used to set up the next subsection, which should only be used for video game information.
  • ===Video Games=== - For information of how a technique works in game. If the technique is game-only, then the subsection is not needed.

Chapter/Episodes

• ==Summary== - The chapter/episode summary. The majority of the summary should contain the important parts of the chapter/episode. In article, we title chapters/episodes as "Round"s just as the author does.
• ==Trivia== - Trivia related to the chapter or episode.
