Yūta Ishii (石井 裕太, Ishii Yūta)[1] is a bantamweight professional boxer from Japan who had a bantamweight world title match that was the semi-final for the main event of Takamura Mamoru and Richard Fox's match.

Chaos Arc[]

Yūta went to the Yokohama Arena when his bantamweight world title match arrived. Before his match, he greeted Makunouchi Ippo, who plans to cheer him on. Yūta told him that he would be waiting for him, as he believed that Ippo would be in his same position soon enough. When Yūta's world title match began, he ended up losing in the second round by knockout.

  • The name Yūta means "abundant" (裕) () and "thick, big, great" (太) (ta).
  • Yūta's surname Ishii means "stone, volume measure" (石) (ishi) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).
